Who We Are
- Hundreds of Taos men who have stepped up to tip the male community towards nonviolence as leaders, mentors, partners.
- As many women (wives, teachers, moms, social workers) who have helped and supported us.
- Dozens of young mentees and teens who have received guidance from the men who volunteer as mentors and positive male role models.
- Dozens of principals, counselors, teachers, and social service personnel who help us every day to give young guys the help they need.
- A newspaper (The Taos News) and two radio stations (KTAO and KXMT) who have taken our message to the community.
- Partners, including The Town of Taos, the Taos Municipal School District, and Governor Bill Richardson, who have consistently supported our work.
- Priests and plumbers, cowboys and Indians, businessmen, coaches and youth leaders who have appeared in the Taos News Media Campaign to make a public stand for nonviolence – 400 men and counting!
- A world-class photographer (Donald Graham) and an inspired graphic designer (David Doyle) who provide the content for the Taos News ads.
- A founder and Board president (Vishu Magee) with the vision to create this program.
- An Executive Director and Board secretary (Crispin Clarke) with the passion and organizational genius to take MEN forward.
- A staff of three masters-level social workers and counselors, all
- Veteran fathers with diverse backgrounds and a prodigious commitment to this work.
- A dedicated grass-roots Board with the collective skills and ideas to grow the organization.
