Current Programs:

  • The Media Campaign presents community men and women, beginning with prominent leaders, taking a high-profile stand for nonviolence.

  • The Mentorship Program serves boys and girls identified by social workers as likely to benefit from positive role models.

  • The Support Groups Program addresses the needs of high-risk teens and provides Nonviolence Awareness Classes for men and women.

  • The Fatherhood Program assists young fathers in claiming and performing the fatherhood role.

  • The Activities Program provides educational field trips, wilderness experiences, and sports opportunities. It includes the Summer Camp for school-year mentees.

  • The Nonviolence Education Program offers presentations and trainings, primarily to schools. It features an early gang intervention program for grades 2 and 5.

  • The Workforce Development Program will begin in 2012, providing internships and career development for youth. It will simultaneously offer jobsite training for the Nonviolent Workplace.
