Donations
Because MEN is volunteer-based, every dollar you donate is highly leveraged and largely goes to directly helping a youngster. Nevertheless, mentorship costs about $1,000 per mentee per year.
Whether you make a small donation to the operating budget, fund a mentee for a year, or perhaps fund an entire program, we are enormously grateful as we expand our programs and work towards establishing a national training center in 2011.
MEN is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization, and your donation may be tax-deductible. Your donation, whether by mail or online, will be acknowledged in writing for your tax accounting. You will also be recognized in our annual newsletter and on this website.
In appreciation for their extraordinary support, Patron, Trustee and Legacy donors will receive an engraved plaque to display at home. Trustee and Legacy donors will receive permanent recognition in our website, as well as being listed on the “Trustee” and “Legacy” plaques at The MEN Center.
The premiums we offer could never be adequate thanks for your support – but we hope you will enjoy them nonetheless!
As of this date – December, 2009 - we are just beginning the design of bracelets and belt buckles by well-known Taos silversmith Larry Martinez. We estimate about six weeks delivery time for premiums.
